This chip adapter is the key to it. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/3152/g304jd.th.jpg Different combinations of flash memory chips along with different jumper settings will provide different combinations of layouts. Notice how the socket is a 32 pin socket. Count the pins on the chips I showed. Tw...

How much does a complete dissy with the rotor button, cap, leads and sub wiring loom weigh? Have to factor in the cost of postage too. Maybe if you could set it up in as small a package as possible and have it weighed so we can work out it's cost. Don't forget, any oil or grease can't be allowed to ...

No need for lowered springs that cause the tyres to catch the guards. Prefer it to look like it's more or less stock. Engine runs but VERY rich due to not getting correct signals for air intake volume. Because of that I don't drive it yet. It needs to be sorted because it will cause damage if driven...

Visual display of the data is already catered for. Nice graphics with all the features of the more expensive software, but it's shareware! It's free to download but they'd like you to slide them US$30 for the effort (which I will) and even if you don't it's still fully fuctional with no restrictions...

Ok, I can offer you some diagrams of the JE Camira EFI wiring. I'm hoping that we can have some manuals covering the twin cam engines in the near future. All the JE Camiras were 2.0 litre MPI systems. There was no TPI in JE models. So all JE Camiras should be the same as the wiring doccos I have her...

Thanks for that image JD. It shows what I was wanting to see. I'd prefer it cap, leads and all if thats possible. Do they normally have an external exciter module they plug into? Looking at that plug on the lead end it looks like they might just plug directly to the coil. That's a standard coil/dist...

It works fine everytime I try it. Sometimes Imageshack can be a bit slow but keep trying. * When I try to upload an image, the upload does not complete and I get a blank page. The image you are uploading is too large for ImageShack to resize. Please resize it using a graphics editing program such as...

I've had a bit of a look at the MegaSquirt too. I like it but I can't tell you as much about it as Warren ( Wfc ) can. If you are interested in it, or need to ask about it check out the MegaSquirt site or give Warren a buzz. My interest is in the Delco because it can be adapted to just about any app...

Ok. I think I've tackled the problem now. While I was at it I changed the icon to a spanner! Thanks to everyone who sent me a reply and big thanks to Robbo who hit the nail on the head. Seems that it wasn't showing as a link because of a bad code but for some strange reason Mozilla/Firefox us...

Being a G200W it should have an electronic dissy, right? If it has then that is also used to sense the crank position. It's batch fired injection. Sequential injection requires a bit more than the basic G series had to offer. It's possible to adapt an older engine to sequential but would mean a lot ...

Just checking what might be a problem... I made four links in the page header. You should see four small images with a clickable text link beside each image. The text should be the same colour as it is in this image, not black. http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/7859/testlink1jz.jpg Is everyone findin...

When I present my twin cam for rego I'm going to do so with a cat fitted. I don't see how it can do any harm to have it there. It's not exactly restrictive in comparison to a lot of mufflers. Even using a larger pipe core cat than the system in the car, tapering in and out of the cat and you reduce ...

my new Delco web page
I've started to add a few links to different Delco related info. The page will be added to fairly quickly. For the moment it's a bit basic. If you are interested in running an EFI engine with a modified Delco 1227808 EMS then this will be of interest to you. http://www.poida.completelyfreehosting.co...

Do you want to fit one or not? I mean enviromentally speaking it can only be useful and they are not exactly restrictive on the whole. I'd say fit one if you are concerned they will make you do it. They won't knock you back for having one but may if you don't. Chances are they will say do it anyway ...
