PS - It's ELP Emerson Lake & Palmer. A song I loved decades ago. Their cheep DVD (boring!) spurred me to get Karn Evil 9 CD. Weird combination having "all those movements" thru my head whilst watching end of the new Galactica series. Dog that music's so slow.....

Ahhh great taste Pete, ELP, now I can still sit down and listen to that stuff no matter how many times I hear it before. Something exceptional about a 3 man band with good old Moog equipment being able to replicate a symphony orchestra at the Montreal Olympic games opening... It makes me shiver. I was equally impressed to see the Jimmy Page performance at the lead up for the London Olympics. I really hope the trio can get in there and do a follow up to commemorate the band and the death of John Bonham.

Gene, I think you realise I wasn't out to cause s*#t in the first place and I assumed you locked it due to the first outbursts which most of us thought were out of line. Let me say I only suggested a change because it looks like no one cares about the front page. Ok so you and Merv are strapped for time. How many others here have offered to remake the page? I can name a few. I could but I don't have time either so maybe let someone make a new page, email it to Merv and let him look at it. If he likes it then his simply updates a web page. Takes all of 20 second and he can KRON it if he really wants to. No one needs to be given admin access, you two have that and you two can set the pages offered if you think it looks the part. I mentioned it before and it was regarded as if I was making attacks on admin for my suggestions. So often certain people (always the same ones) who have nothing better to do just try to manipulate my posts to turn the thread into a s*#t fight.

THAT is what I dislike about the forum. The lack of moderation when it nearly needs to be done. You have to look at it from a different perspective. I even messaged admin members asking for certain posts to be removed and I get denied that. The reason I do is because I can see all it's doing is escalating an issue to the point people lose the plot. The focus is heavily biased toward me being the blame for it all and if you think that's the case then you seriously need to sit back and look at it all as an outsider. Imagine it's the first time you visited and stumbled on the thread. Forget knowing anything about me or anyone else. Look back to read what first triggered n incident and who aggravates it. Look further, for instance... I'm going to use an example of ozzie just because it's plain to see. Nothing ozzie has ever said said about or to me in any thread has ever nee civilised. Every time it became a disturbance over something I posted prior to his comments. Now you don't need to be a genius to read into that. ozzie has continually created these situations because he wants to.

I can post a comment in conversation with Gene and he can leave it alone and not make a s*#t fight about it.

Ok, the DVD. I have now been forwarded the PM's from my account when I was banned. Something I asked for over and over and was denied it. I know have a fair idea who I owe the DVD to. Still researching a little more but I hope to have it all tied up really soon. It has bee really frustrating to have been labelled a thief and a asshole for swindling peoples money when that isn't how it was at all. It was actually more frustrating that Gene called me scum and a thief etc knowing I was asking for the access so I could get the info I needed AND at the same time stirring up the ones making all the noise over the fact I wasn't refunding or sending the goods. The whole thing really blew out of proportion and I hate to say it people, it was in the hands of this site admin to clear it up but they refused to AND used the hysteria to turn people against me. I'm being honest and not saying this to create hostility. It's fact. Certain friends on this forum are aware of the whole saga and have been really supportive, for that I can't thank them enough. In this last week it nearly erupted again and you know who you are... yes I do owe you a DVD and you have reason to be pissed but try to see it from my aspect. I was helpless over the whole thing.

Gene, one last point. You on a number of occasions have manipulated situations for your own entertainment at my expense. You know I didn't post gay porn yet you manipulated the situation thinking it would add texture fir the porn to be gay? Why Gene, is there something about homosexuality that upsets you? I'm straight as they come and I have some gay friends, some bi friends and none of them try hitting on me so why should it bother me how they live their love life?? You knew that none of the regular forum members saw any of the porn I posted, only one person did and that gave you opportunity to bulls*#t and manipulate others into thinking I posted GAY porn. Gene if GAY is so much more despicable, I think it's likely you have some underlying issue with gay people.

So I admit I was stressed to a point in my life that stupid actions by some of the forum members here just pushed me and one night till I said f*#k you Gene, you guys make such issues over rule breaking (not doing a damn thing to follow your own rules) that I posted a few porn image URLs off a Google search page. I proved to myself that rules here are meaningless unless admin want to use them. As I have stated many times, just about every rule has been broken by people abusing me over the times and NOTHING was done, not even acknowledgement that others were breaking rules. Nothing. I did nothing more in posting a few image URLs as what others do here every day. You chose to punish me because it suited you. You choose not to punish others because it suits you.

Just adding, I wrote the above not as a means to harass, abuse or take the piss out of anyone who it involves in any way. I wrote it because I feel everyone has a right to know what happened in certain situations because many people here don't know the whole story, the truth. Those of you feeling defensive about anything I said, live with it. I have to live with the s*#t you fling my way being disruptive. Often it's not even true but you don't care to find out. Just use it as a means to fulfil your needs.

I don't care if this thread gets locked. I said my thing but I do care if admin choose to remove it. If you do then you have a guilty conscience. It can't hurt to be open about things. Truth hurts sometimes. Pretending it didn't happen can come back to haunt you later. Hiding it because you think it's damaging IS going to come back later to hurt you and the forum.
