I should have G180S brackets, but that's the same block as G200W, and it may be the front type of bracket.

I should also have G200W center brackets...

(Funny how forums are quicker than email (replies)... )

Hmmm, looks like I'll be down for another weekend visit soon huh!

I want to ditch the modified petrol cross member and fit a diesel one.

Does anyone with a genuine G180W engine bracket set, in the right places (not swapped about) feel like snapping images of the brackets on the engine for me so I can clearly see how they are supposed to look...

The driver side is a two straight up/down bolt bracket and the rubber mounts looks like it's pretty well straight and seems to be mounted close to standard as per a G161Z crossmemebr mount point though it has a 4ishmm steel spacer plate between the rubber mount and the crossmember mount so it may have been used to offset the mount a little.
The passenger side cross member mount has a not so good looking extension welded onto the cross member pad and it sits the engine mount forward to the point it would probably about mate up to the diesel cross member. If it were back where the original cross member pad sits it would be clashing with the exhausr manifold. The passenger side engine bracket has 4 holes, only 3 have bolts through them, number 4 is hanging in free space.

To reduce the incidence of issues when I rego this it has to be unmodified as far as the engine mountings look.

Ok, all chit chat aside, I really could use a pair of these engine mount brackets... Must be to suit the G180W Gemini engine.

I'll buy them if for sale, borrow them if need to copy and fabricate a new set.

Someone has to have a set sitting idle on a spare/parts engine???

I'll have a look on my G180w in the garage and see if they're still attached?

Well I still don't have a pair these Gemini twincam engine mount brackets or even a loan or a detailed measure/photo/sketch to allow me to reproduce them as per the originals. Has anyone got a spare set off an engine that whey would like to sell or lend so I can copy them?

Based on what Elky has shown me I have one passenger side engine mount in good condition on a G180W and one that has had extra holes drilled in it. I don't have any drivers side ones.

Thanks for that. I'm still keen to source a pair of the genuine mount brackets to reproduce replicas from. If anyone has some loose ones doing nothing that they can sell or lend it would be appreciated.

Hi Poida;
I should have some floating around, just be patient and I will make an effort to dig them up.
Currently have a lot of parts in storage, and a few in my garage at home.
(hope I haven't tossed them out...)
Cheers

Denny

Good to hear from you Denny.
It's been ~6 years fro here, even linger in person.

FYI - Florians still rule! (Especially with G200Ws, and LSDs...)
