G161s, G180s and G200s (I'm not sure if this applies to DOHC or just SOHC) can be found in: Holden Geminis, Rodeos, Jackaroos, and the Japanese Gemini - ZZ/R and ZZ/Z (this has a DOHC) As I'm sure you have gathered, the "Z" depicts single cam, and the "W" twin cam. The G180W and ...

As mentioned in another thread, it would probably cost loads to have Delco 808 remapped for a G-series engine for which they are not designed... But I have a noob question. If one has been remapped for a G180W/G200W, could you copy those settings for use with another such engine? Or, if it must be t...

Cheers Nick. I wonder if it'd work to remove the mech. pump and replace it with an electronic one which drives through a filter? Maybe via an external line and welding up the existing one, or by modifying the existing one to use an electronic pump..? I don't have the best understanding of how the oi...

Wow, it's up to $620 already! I only paid $300 for mine, albeit with 4spd, no clutch, plenum or throttle body.

Thanks everyone, sorry I havn't posted in ages. Gem has sorted out my plenum and throttle body issues, and thanks for the correction in terminology. I don't know much about the G-series engines yet, but one of these days I will start pulling apart the G180W in my spare room, and I may be able to tak...

Can I kidnap this thread now? :P

Why is it so much to get this computer tuned - and is there any way around it? I'm planning to run my G180W with the stock induction for awhile, then convert to supercharger... Will I need to have it tuned twice, for that kinda money?

Would I be right in saying the Delco 808 would suit a G180W too? Is there any way around paying so much to have them tuned?

G180W inlet - EFI or carby. ***Have bought one, all sorted**

Hey, I'm looking for an inlet for my G180W. I have the fuel injection rail which bolts onto the block, but it still ends in four ports and I need the bit that fits onto that. Alternatively, I might be interested in a regular inlet with weber. I live in Adelaide, Aust. but am willing to pay postage. ...

G180W rebuild and bearings

Hey I'm looking at rebuilding my G180W and I'm in need of help. What do I do? ... Or is there a book/website I should read up on? Oh and, heaslipauto on Just Gems of SA (Heaslip Auto) say they could enquire about how much it would cost to have cam bearings made - but he needs to know the size...
