Looks the goods man, like my daily but a little neater. As for the wheels, I'm not a fan of grey centres and black might be a bit much, but having said that I wanted some black centre 15" 6 spokes for mine for awhile. Should be awesome with an extra cam. Good resto, any tips or pointers on matc...

It's strange that Isuzu went to the effort of designing a twincam, and developing a turbo, but never made a twincam turbo. I guess cost and market demands are a bitch. That said, I guess it's also kinda stupid that CDT went to the effort of turbocharging a SOHC carby motor, rather than starting with...

Or a bucket labelled "hard rubish"

I have some other weird thing there instead, and I'm probably ditching/ignoring it.

The Isu twincams CAME OUT turbo?

That's so damn awesome, man I wish it was 1988, and I was dumping a G200W turbo in a ZZ/R Gemini... That'd eat just about anything on the street.

Exhaust cam, how much?

Hey guys, as many of you may have read, I had some uhh, interesting issues with my exhaust cam, and now need a new one.

I have a seller in mind but I don't know what a stock G***W cam's worth. What's the going rate - not that it's a particularly common part to trade stock.

Cheers,
Eli

Dual injectors... I've never heard of that before, but it's a damn good idea. However, I'd imagine it'd only be a good idea when run as sequential, not as tandem, reason being: If a 500cc injector has trouble pumping (for example) 40cc/min, then two 250cc injectors pumping 40cc/min, at 20cc/min each...

Turbo cam grinds (for my isuzu triple-cam...)

I'm looking at getting cams made (from scratch...) for my G180W. It'll be using a Garrett GT28RS turbo, with the smaller exhaust housing. This is a very responsive turbo, and I'll be tuning for response throughout the rev range, aiming to hit boost below 3000rpm if possible, and make power right up ...

Ahh okay, you sure? I took my engine to two engine builders (one for head work, one for lower end) and they reckoned it was by Yamaha. Could just be similar though.

Ahh ok, makes sense.

As for the motorcycle heads connection - the heads on the twincam were designed and/or made by Yamaha. Isuzu for torque, Yamaha for revs

Hmm, I didn't know you have to machine the buckets to fit lumpy cams, what has to be done? Machine part of the bottom off so it clears? Is it expensive?

next time i went to stop it felt like the car actually went faster. LOL how funny is that feeling (in the right circumstance) It's like, if you're driving along the highway and noone's around, try tucking your foot under the brake pedal, thinking about something else, and braking... Feels like you'...

LOL, Brad I'd call you a spelling Nazi but then I'd be a hypocrite... It's all about how you drive, I get brake fade with a stock G161Z in the hills - well, okay, once I got my discs glowing, but that's a story of its own... But then again, if you're doing anywhere up to say 160 in a Gemini and hit ...

Damnit, you posted this about a year too late. I went out and got a copper head gasket made, and made my own cork rocker cover gasket :P

Roughly how much would they be for curiosity's sake?

How does it fit stock? or is that only for G200W in a Gemini?

Hmm, how about 1.8lt? I guess the cylinder capacity exhaust flow is offset by the higher revs of the 180W. I don't want any lag, just because of hills/drift etc.... Reckon the .60 would be ok?

Shit, didn't see that. Yeah I'd say that's a definite no-go on the Piazza turbo gear fitting a twincam, unless you get the exhaust header welded to shit, which defys the point of not just getting a T28 and having an existing header modified.

Turboooo!! More efficient, and more high end. Possibly consider the smaller Garrett "Disco Potato" turbo - GT28RS with the smaller exhaust housing, I forget the exact model number but I think it has an AR of 0.48 or something versus 0.60.... Argh, these numbers are making my head hurt alre...
