Re: G161W-G180W-G200W bearing sets (including cam bearings)

UPDATE I have been trying to communicate with the company about these bearings, the first response I got was a little odd but i didn't think much of it... this is the reply: Thanks for your kind mail for us. We're very glad to quote our best prices and to send our drawings for you but could you ple...

Re: G161W-G180W-G200W bearing sets (including cam bearings)

Cool, recorded your interest and I know Pete will snap some up as well, just a question of how many sets... of course if they are the goods we know they are going to be available so no big concern about bulking up. I imagine their pricing is going to be relative to our quantity, thus I'd like to try...

G161W-G180W-G200W bearing sets (including cam bearings)

Hello members!! DryftKult came across a web site listing bearings sets for the G???W engines, it looks like they include the overhead cam bearing sets we have been unable to find. At the moment I am communicating with the company and I've asked for some tech drawings of their bearing sets to ascerta...

Re: G180w Dipstick

Full height will be the critical one. It would normally be a set height below the moving crank journals (can't allow the journals to be hitting the oil reservoir) and I would think it would be the same setting for SOHC and DOHC blocks. I have a SOHC on the engine stand at the moment, I'll measure th...

Re: Has anyone got a G200W (EFI) inlet manifold laying aroun

UPDATE!! I no longer need the above plenum, I ended up modifying the original G180W plenum to suit my needs. NOTE! I'm now keen to get hold of a spare original G180W plenum from someone who has made an aftermarket plenum etc and no longer needs their OEM one. No need for a throttle body (though if i...

ZZ/R EFI sub wiring loom & components

I will soon be removing the original G180W (ZZ/R Gemini) EFI wiring sub loom together with all the sensors and associated components I will no longer need once I set up the Delco system. If anyone is interested in these give me a buzz. I'll sell them cheap as I won't be needing them and would rather...

Twincam cam bearings

I have come across listings for what are said to be cam bearings for Isuzu G161, G180 and G200 engines although they don't mention the suffix. I'm still trying to find out more about them. i suspect they may be the part number for the auxiliary camshaft bearings.

The part number is 3C1190S.

Re: Detailed piston info needed! Attn: gurus!

I imagine if you could send them an old piston they should be able to work with that. A plaster cast of the piston crown and combustion chamber should also be helpful. Now if you can't provide hose, maybe one of the other members with loose parts or an engine in pieces could come to the rescue... Ca...

Re: Sidedraught fitment?

Regarding the clearance problems between brake master cylinder and cylinders number 3 & 4 carburettor... You don't actually need a brake booster. You can fit one of the master cylinders that were used without a booster. That should solve the clearance issues although it does mean a bit more foot...

Re: Recent Down Time

Wow, it happened again! I opened a Twincam web page to find another database error message which needed more upgrading to fix it. Not sure how long the site was off line this time though it shouldn't have been more than 48 hours. I hope the migration is all over and done with now. As much as these i...

Re: Recent Down Time

We'll have these issues now & then but it's part of the price ya pay for a free site. The server costs me nothing and we don't cop adds or pop ups so it's pretty good value. It's reliable enough for my liking. I could have probably got it back up a bit quicker but I wasn't quite aware what was h...

Re: Has anyone got a G200W (EFI) inlet manifold laying around?

...awesome. Just checking, it's definitely the type with the square TB bolt pattern and a round hole, right?? I have a standard G180W (Gemini) manifold and the oval style TB mount isn't suited to my needs. I'd rather replace with the round hole type than cut and weld the original manifold. If it is,...

Hey everyone, I'm after an inlet manifold for the twincam engine that has the square 4 bolt mount and a round hole for the throttle body (not the oval one for he twin throttle plate). Does anyone have one of these they are willing to let go of? I'm told they were used on the G200W Piazza engines.

Has anyone got a G200W (EFI) inlet manifold laying around?

I'm looking for a G200W ECGI inlet manifold and plenum. They have a square 4 bolt throttle body mount.

I don't need the throttle body, just the basic manifold assembly though I will take it with injectors and fuel rail if they are still attached.

I'd also like to know if they can do G180W kits as well. I found a site that lists similar part numbers but their parts database is down so I can't verify what they hold and if it is for twin cams. It's a USA site and they list the parts as Isuzu I-Marks so they would be for imports. Locally built c...

Re: Cam bearing oil supply - dummy cam modifications?

It actually sounds like a logical modification to me. The 5mm groove is to allow unrestricted oil flow and the restrictive block in the head deck is the regulator to control flow rate to the two overhead camshafts and prevent oil pressure dropping at the bottom end. I would certainly look at this cl...

All the early Rodeo/Jackaroo diesels are the C series and all have the starter on the passenger (left hand) side. They are quite a physically small starter too, a reduction geared starter.
