I didnt want to risk the thing not sealing so i thought fook it, ill just coat it with the Hylomar. I only had one dowel on the block and was pressed for time so i was about worried about the gasket being damaged [unlikely, but like i said didnt want the risk] upon installation. Not worried about ha...

Use the Hylomar spray can shit - works the good. Rodeobob was telling me they sometimes use it to make up the difference/level out the block slightly on old trucks or some shit like that. You'd have to ask him but i just used it on a 4ZC1 and a brand new gasket and it looks the shit! Give it 10mins ...

Yeah the injectors ARE that expensive. Blame the stupid spray pattern being different because of the properties of the liquid being flowed. As for flow, fucked if i know. Shouldnt need to apply a coating to the bores to reduce wear - its simply a matter of researching a ring and bore-sleeve combo th...

Dont feel guilty - the more knowledge the better really. The problem with Ethanol is it is a dry burning fuel. When the fuel/air mixture is drawn into the cylinders, some of the fuel slightly wets the bores and lubricates the rings. Its not enough to pass the scraper ring, but enough to keep the upp...

Yes you can but it would require some fucking around with the caliper mounts and brake lines - not overly involving. The trick is to grab a combo that comes close to fitting with little work. Apparently theres a certain Magna disc that pretty much bolts on with a certain Volvo caliper...pm F|sh on o...

And as to DOHCs etc – its probably dead for the Wasp as she’s going back to her original owner now that I have Jaqi Jackeroo (after I fix her cracked head which she caught after RodeoBob delivered Jaqi here:- Jaqi had a pre-existing cracked head. Coincidence? I think not. RodeoBob knows how welcome...

you only need rubber EFI lines the current lines are not spose to be for EFO only carby and if your looking to be one the safe side or high hp i would suggest larger fuel piping (under the car) Never heard of a Gemini needing the standard steel fuel lines being upgraded. These are fine in 9second c...

I have a pair of GTR-copy manifolds (extended by a ~25mm) with twin 45mm Weber DCOEs on my 2L DOHC (in a Florian). (FYI - jetted correctly, DCOE 45's means 150HP instead of the standard 135HP EFI DOHC. Tates (a Melbourne mob that build racing engines etc) dyno tested my worn 2L DOHC at 135HP (100kW...
