I have re used a head gasket before, metal around the bores etc can't remember the brand.

No leaks or problems for me, obviously I would only re use once though

Yo Nick 230 is the figure I was told - have not proof though! I had a dude in Hobart build my motor - he copied the specs from a guy he knew who ran a DOHC motor in NSW Club Rally. The head was sent off to an old guy in Hobart who is well known for doing race heads. Cams went off to CamTek for mod. ...

So, the conclusion thus far is.................

Is it possible to use a modified SOHC headgasket on a DOHC without it being too DODGEY?

Or do we all do group buy at Bursons?

SOHC Head Gasket blank.

Anyone ever lined up a sohc head gasket on a dohc block? Appart from the timing cover (easy cut away), a couple of water/oil holes and not much meat on one side - the sohc gasket would bloody well fit. My question is, can you by headgaskets with no holes in? A head gasket before it had the holes pun...

Anyone looked at Jackaroo or Shuttle mounts? I looked at Ricks motor at Winton the other day and those mount brackets were looking similar to the Jackaroo ones I have down home, or were they Shuttle or were they? can't bloody remember..................... ask Daniel to take a picture of his ZZ/R mou...
